Harazi beans grow in the mist-covered Haraz mountains of Yemen's Al Mahwit Governorate, at 1,500–2,500m altitude. The terraced highland farms sit above the clouds, where volcanic soils enriched by seasonal rains and steady mountain airflow combine to nurture a coffee that is both beautifully balanced and unusually complex.

Hand-harvested at peak ripeness and sun-dried on raised beds using centuries-old traditional Yemeni methods, Harazi beans develop a smooth, full-bodied character that stands apart from other Yemeni varieties. Expect vibrant notes of jasmine, apricot, and blueberry with a clean, wine-like finish, a versatile cup that performs equally well across all brew methods, from espresso to pour-over.

Where do your coffee beans come from?

Our beans are 100% single-origin from Yemen, our Kholani beans come from the ancient Khawlan mountains, our Harazi beans from the Haraz mountains, and our Yafei beans from the Ibb Governorate highlands. No blends, no additives.

What is the difference between Kholani, Yafei, Harazi, and Matari?

Each variety comes from a different highland region of Yemen. Kholani (Khawlan mountains) is bold with dark chocolate notes, ideal for espresso. Yafei (Ibb Governorate) has delicate floral aromas and bright layered acidity, perfect for pour-over. Harazi (Haraz mountains) is floral and fruity with a balanced, wine-like character, versatile for any brew. Matari (Bani Mattar) is deep and winey with dark chocolate notes, one of Yemen's most prized varieties.

Are the beans freshly roasted?

Fresh roasting is available exclusively during our pre-order campaigns. When a campaign is open, beans are roasted in small batches specifically for your order and sealed immediately. Follow us or sign up to be notified when the next campaign opens.

How should I store my coffee beans?

Store in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. Avoid the fridge, condensation damages flavour.
