The legendary Matari cup, in a single-serve drip bag. No machine, no grinder, no filter papers. Tear, hang the bag on your cup, pour hot water, and you have the coffee that made Yemeni Mocha famous.

Grown on ancient stone terraces in the Bani Matar district in the highlands west of Sana'a at 2,000 to 2,400 m, hand-harvested and sun-dried by the same natural method Yemeni farmers have used for centuries. Ground to a drip profile and sealed one cup at a time, so the first bag tastes like the last.

Rich and full-bodied with a chocolate-forward character. Expect notes of dark chocolate, dried date, warm spice and a deep winey sweetness, the classic Yemeni Mocha profile.

How to brew: tear open the sachet, hook it over the rim of your cup, and pour just enough hot water (around 92°C) to wet the grounds. Wait 30 seconds, then pour the rest in slow circles to make roughly 180 ml. Lift the bag out and drink.
